These are ceramic mugs intended for cold or room temperature beverages only.
All of our ceramics are handmade. Each mug varies slightly and is unique, and is not the exact mug photographed here, although we try for it to be as identical as possible when produced by hand. During ceramic production sometimes there can be small variations with glaze, color, texture, cleanup, etc.
We guarantee mugs not to arrive with structural cracks or chips, and will replace them at our expense if they arrive to you in this condition.
Only one mug is included.
While technically these can be put in a dishwasher, we only recommend hand washing as this is a functional piece of art.

What are “Whoopsies”?

This only applies to those who select 'Whoopsies' as an option when ordering.

During production, sometimes 'Whoopsies!' happen. These mugs we still consider sellable and usable, but we’ve previously held them back from shipping for often very small and obscure reasons that most people wouldn’t notice/care about. While all of our mugs are hand made and unique, some are a little more unique than others. We’ve had many people inquire about mugs that we’ve not had in-stock for awhile, so we thought this could be a good way to get some mugs that we no longer produce into the hands of those who really want them, and to make room on our shelves for new mugs that we’ve got in the works.

Each of these tiki mugs will have one or more of these, or other, small issues: glaze somewhere unintended, tiny black dots from particles in the kiln, glaze smudges, superficial cracks that don’t affect the integrity of the mug, variation in color or glaze texture, cleanup issues, etc. As each mugs issues vary and are unique, they aren’t reflected in pictures here. Mugs are being sold in as-is condition. While we reserve the right to permanently mark mugs on bottom, out of sight, to indicate they're part of this group, this set will not be marked. Exchanges for alternate 'Whoopsie!' mugs will be allowed if buyer pays shipping costs. Mugs will not arrive cracked (excludes superficial ‘cracks’).

Beautiful mug!

This mug is beautiful. I love the contrast in colors which make all the details really stand out. The mug is smaller than I expected but that’s not a bad thing! It’s the perfect size.

Beautiful, Not As Huge As Web Photos Appear

My only worry about this mug was that the web photos made it look huge. Like crazy big for what is, essentially, a ceramic canteen. When it arrived, I was relieved to find that it's on the small size, which is perfect. Six ounces of cocktail with eight of crushed ice and there's just a little room at the top. As for the mug, the theme is delightfully nautical and the dual-color, dual-side art is amazing. The bronze accent shading really sells the porthole feeling. Vibrant sunrise/set orange view of Diamon Head on one side; dark blue/teal underwater scene with an octopus on the other. When this mug is on the shelf, rather than in hand with a cocktail, I'm constantly waffling between which side to display out.

Beautiful workmanship

As a person that grew up having a boat before my first car, this tiki design was a must for my collection. I was very impressed by the quality of the design of this double sided mug.

It's a nice swizzle stick to go with my jade tile mug, so it's awesome.

Even though it's a whoopsie, it looks fantastic. I'm not sure where the fault in quality is, but I'm happy to add it to my collection.
