It took nearly a year for the mug to ship from the time it was announced, but TLTC did send updates periodically on delays/updated shipping dates. I love this mug! It’s very hefty - weighing in at 26oz, holding roughly 26oz of rum and standing 7 1/2” high. Very well made. If you’re a fan of The Creature From The Black Lagoon and Tiki Bob, this is a great design and well executed!

My journey into the world of tiki mugs has officially begun—and what a way to kick it off. The Teko Teko from TikiLand Trading Co. is the first real tiki mug I’ve ever owned, and I’ve got to say… I’m already obsessed.

This thing isn’t just a drinking vessel—it’s a full-blown personality. The craftsmanship is absolutely top-notch. Every carved detail pops with purpose, from the hypnotic turquoise eyes to the intricate tribal patterns etched around the body. It has a bold presence that instantly commands attention, like it belongs on a shrine instead of a shelf.

The design feels both ancient and modern, like something Indiana Jones might have discovered in a forgotten temple—then immediately poured a rum cocktail into. The weight is satisfying, the finish is flawless, and the sculpt itself is just downright impressive. It’s got character—grit, attitude, and just enough mystique to make you feel like you’re holding something sacred.

I didn’t expect to fall this hard for a tiki mug, but here I am, already hunting for more that match my style and humor. If Teko Teko is any indication of what’s out there, I’m in trouble… and I’m loving every minute of it.

I think it was a year, or close to it, from the time I pre-ordered this mug until the time I received it. Good things come to those who wait. The quality is impressive. This is a hefty mug. I was pleasantly surprised at it's weight and thickness. A prefect addition to my Creature from the Black Lagoon tiki mug collection.

I have so many mugs that my wife has forbidden me from purchasing any more ( I have 350-400). But THIS one is so damn cute that I just had to include it. I waited for about 8 months to receive it (which I knew was the wait time), but I will say it was worth it.

I have a collection of 5 tiki mugs, most from Tiki Farm. This is now my official favorite mug though. It gets the most remarks from people when I bring it out during tiki drink get togethers with friends.

I absolutely love this tiki mug! The details are everywhere which I appreciate. There's score marks around the back fin like the actual banana peel was chunked out to be able to place the fin. The size of the mug is larger than pictures make it out to be but I think it's scaled just right for this design.

My girlfriend has been wanting this tiki mug since she saw it so I had to get it for her she absolutely loves it.

Once upon a time a famous and handsome rum mixologist and restauranteur saw his empire crumbling so he shaved his mustache and began a new career as a riverboat tour guide in the dark and dangerous jungles. One day, while passing through the backside of water, he saw a greenish glow in the water. As he leaned over to see better, he slipped and fell in. The mysterious waters changed him. He grew gills, scales, and claws and turned green himself. But thru it all, his ability to hold his (or your) liquor never wavered and in whatever form, he was and is just waiting for the chance to fill himself on the finest spirits known to man or beast.

Working with designers like Thor - Tikiland has the top designs in tiki mugs today. Can always use more Tiki Bob designs and this does not disappoint. Looking forward to adding Candy Wild's Creature Girl next to Creature Bob!

I have been a fan of the Creature for more than 60 years so I was excited to see Creature Bob surface from the ceramic lagoon. The pictures online don't do it full justice. The base of the mug is wider than expected giving it a substantial heft. Very pleased with this purchase.

I would buy more items from this company but frankly don't want to wait another year and change before getting a mug that is already paid for. Just me, I guess.

This was my first experience buying a mug from this site. I ordered it early/mid May last year and the listing said shipping late 2024, but I didn't receive it until about a week ago (mid March 2025). That being said, the mug is SO CUTE. It's a dead ringer for the banana dolphin garnish they used to use at Lost Lake, of which I have so many good memories. It looks just like the photo and I was surprised how big it is.
